It is being speculated that Kodak, who passed away on April 29 at Peters' house, was electrocuted.
While speaking with The Guardian, Bala Elkana, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed that Peters is still in police custody and is "being questioned, along with a few others." He added that the authorities are "investigating the circumstances surrounding her [Kodak's] death."
"It's an exhaustive investigation. Most likely, there will be a murder. At this point, we cannot draw a conclusion. It is up to us to determine whether reports indicate that she died from electrocution. Is it true that she was electrocuted? What did not work? A post-mortem will likewise show", Bala said.
Peters was said to have been working on a single shot with Kodak shortly before her death, and the police have all detained the other people who were at his house that day.
